Who are we?

We are a private company owned by the founders and senior staff. We are at the forefront of the industry and provide much of the UK's commercial sector with recycling and waste management services, advice and business solutions. Our clients include numerous private, public and not-for-profit organisations and businesses in London and across the UK. By offering a one-stop shop for all recycling initiatives - from front-end advisory services through to the specification and management of service contracts - Loop presents a new approach to total environmental management. Our strength is in our objectivityexperience and the ability to bring fresh thinking to the business of recycling and waste management.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

We are committed to conserving our world for generations to come. We offset our carbon emissions with Clear which is QAS accredited and we are a Silver member of Transport for London's Freight Operator Recognition Scheme.

Our Vehicles

Run by Transport for London, we are FORS (Freight Operators Recognition Scheme) accredited to Silver standard. As a member of FORS we are committed to operating our fleet responsibly and monitor vehicle efficiency to minimise environmental impact.

We are SAFEContract Accredited

We have been accredited by Safecontractor, a health and safety assessment scheme that is recognised all over the UK. Loop takes health and safety compliance very seriously and strives to achieve the best service in the safest way.

Carbon Emissions

Loop has offset its carbon footprint for 2009-2013 with Clear Carbon Offsetting Company. The scope of the footprint included: energy use, business flights, staff commuting and vehicle fleet. This certification is QAS Approved.

Loop actively monitors our fleet emissions with CO2 Count Certificates to have a complete transparency of our greenhouse gas emissions.

In addition, our electricity is supplied by a 100% renewable provider, which is Green Energy Certified.

Our Responsible Procurement

Loop aim to procure in an ethical and environmental manner. The recycling equipment we supply is sourced to the best environmental standards we can administer.
We are proud to be using Fairphones, an ethical mobile phones company ranked the highest in the Sustainability Index 2014 on Sustainable Electronics done by Rank-a-brand. We also have all our phone contracts with The Phone Co-operative - a consumer co-operative, with high sustainability and fairness standards. Our Charity Support

We proudly support charities and social action projects. Charities and projects who have recently benefitted include: Richard House Children's Hospice, City of London Festival – School's Art Project, The Mildmay Mission Hospital, BBC Children in Need Appeal and The Oikos Project.
